Just some jabber-jawin' from a glass gal!
Thanksgiving is over. Therefore, in my mind, the Christmas season has begun!! JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON! WHOO HOO!!! Almost all our Christmas decor is up thanks to my awesome hubby! Our tree is up. The lights on the house are almost done. The decor is spread throughout the house. The holiday tunes are a-blastin’. 
Even my blog got a little “Christmasized.”
So here’s to a very MERRY Christmastime to you and yours.

Uh – nope. Not yet! But I’ll try to get some today and post them. I’m just kinda warming up, so they aren’t that great yet and may look better in jewelry….so….until I like what I see, please wait! And be patient. I’m very excited with a couple things I’m working on.
I do have some custom bead orders pending (I HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU!) but I also have a boutique (I only do two a year) in two and a half weeks. I’m sorry, I’m crankin’ it all out as fast as I can. I am just working when my littlest is napping (so – maybe an hour and a half a day, Mon-Fri) and my eldest is in school (not this week!). Not in panic mode……yet.
So stay tuned. I promise the next update will have beadie goodies and jewelry!

Sorry for the silence. When I have nothing to report that has anything to do with the purpose of this blog, I tend to stay quiet.
The reason for this quiet is the fact that my studio has had a serious malfunction as of late. My oxygen concentrators (both of them) went KAPLEWIE. So – no beads. Not like I could spend much time out there because it’s still soooooo freakin’ hot. I hope to have good news today as to the diagnosis…….
But – THIS HAS ME SO EXCITED!!! I don’t know if you’re a fan…..but I sure am!!!
My baby girl is growing up. She has sported the independent attitude for years, but today was the first time she’s gone to school, on the first day, without Momma. Granted, she only had roughly 8 weeks off so it wasn’t a LONG, endless summer….but still. My big girl.

So my hubby’s cousin hosted a mini get together a week or so ago….. She had a gal there talking about these rags (yes, just rags) that are microfiber and antibacterial. I’m not (ahem) much for cleaning, but I thought I’d go check it out.
Wellllll, I’m impressed. I guess they have silver, somehow, embedded into the microfiber and the silver, somehow, kills any bacteria you are wiping up, all the while holding it in with the microfiber. I’m not a huge neat freak, but cleanliness is important with a little one crawling around putting EVERYTHING into his mouth. These little (kinda pricey) goodies just pick up all the cooties and kill ‘em! I thought – wow….cooooool.
And they don’t just make “happy rags,” as our hostess called them. They have wash cloths, kitchen towels, mops, hair turbans (for after showers) and much, much more!! I have to start slow, though, as I said it’s expensive.
BUT
Just wait.
NO CLEANING CHEMICALS!
You don’t have to quirt, spray, douse or wipe with ANYTHING first. Say you’re cleaning your sliding glass door that is covered in sticky little handprints. Just get one of the “happy rags” wet and wipe it off. Then take another “happy rag,” one used for “polishing,” and wipe it dry. VOILA! You have a clean window. No Windex needed. No excess paper towel usage. No chemicals so even your KIDS could do it.
I haven’t received my “happy rags” yet, but lemme tell you, I’m kinda excited to CLEAN! Seriously. Makes the environment happy. Makes for an easy to clean house. Makes for little HELPERS to earn a bit of an allowance (or a big smooch). Makes this Mama happy. ”Happy Rags!” Check ‘em out!
It is SOOOOOOO hot!
It’s driving me MAD! I was talking to my step-mom? My dad’s wife? One of my favorite people? Anyway – I was talking to my Carol and she said that there is something to be said about “creative tension,” but you shouldn’t have to wait THIS long!! Ugh. It’s just so HOT, people! SO FREAKIN’ HOT! I know this about Arizona. I’ve known it almost my whole life. Why do I live here? Why do I tolerate this Hellacious atmosphere?
Oh yeah. Love. Huh. Whooda thunk it.
So – I live in this persistent heat box. I can’t WAIT until October. Okay – even September. ANYTHING below 100 would be ‘ok.’
I haven’t figured out how to alleviate this “creative tension” I have these days, so if you’ve got any ideas, shoot ‘em my way. I REALLY wanna melt glass instead of….well….just plain melting!
ARG! It’s Monday, too. That doesn’t help much either. Sorry for the venting.
I just noticed something….in my Yahoo mail….
I CAN UPDATE MY BLOG FROM MY EMAIL! That is too cool! I can’t do my usual green font, but I can do most everything else for a basic post. WOW! I don’t know why I find that amazing, but it makes it WAY easier! I might become a “bloggaholic!” I just need more readers…..and more beads….since that is the TRUE purpose of my blog and I rarely talk about them.
I need cooler weather!
ANYWAY! Thanks for lettin’ me get excited over that! Now back to your regularly scheduled program……..
I'm just trying to find my way in the blogging world, so bear with me. This blog is MEANT to talk about beads, glass and other such fancies, but.....well, since it's so stinkin' hot here in the Phoenix area, beads tend to get put on hold for the summer months. I do hope to have some glass goodies to show soon, even if it's just pics of my studio (in the making). Please check back often.
